The role We are seeking an experienced New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead this high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic leader passionate about driving growth, nurturing talent, and elevating customer satisfaction in the premium automotive sector. Key duties include: Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated sales team to exceed sales targets and KPIs Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximise revenue and market share Foster long-term customer relationship journeys ensuring you and the sales team provide exceptional service Manage new vehicle inventory, including ordering, forecasting, and stock control Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Collaborate with marketing, finance, and service departments to optimize operations Ensure compliance with brand standards, industry regulations, and dealership policies Deliver regular sales performance reports and actionable insights to senior management What were looking for Proven experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager in a dealership environment Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-achieving teams Exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management abilities Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics Remuneration and benefits A six figure plus income including performance-based incentives with a large salary content Ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities A supportive, forward-thinking work environment within an industry-leading dealership How to apply Applications are encouraged from local Hawkes Bay candidates as well as professionals open to relocation from elsewhere in NZ.
