About the Role An established healthcare provider is seeking a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their progressive radiology team. Work with cutting-edge PET and NM technology, enjoy flexible modality options, and strong professional development support across multiple sites in Auckland. Hours: This a full-time Monday to Friday role, hours (9 am - 5 pm) with the occasional weekend shift for Sentinel node procedures ahead of Monday surgeries.

Benefits Competitive salary with additional paid leave Comprehensive health and wellness support for employees CPD opportunities available across the Medical Imaging field Located in the heart of Auckland City with multiple handy clinic locations A supportive and multidisciplinary team that values professional growth and development Support for CT scope training, with opportunities for professional development in hybrid imaging Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain PET and NM imaging devices, ensuring consistent, high-quality imaging results Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures following clinical protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively, ensuring optimal patient outcomes Prepare and guide patients through procedures, respecting individual cultural and personal backgrounds Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to interpret imaging results that enhance patient care Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines for both patient and staff well-being Maintain thorough and accurate records and documentation for all procedures and patient interactions Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department Requirements Applicants MUST be registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board Skills and Experience Successful applicants will demonstrate: Proven experience in Nuclear Medicine and/or PET imaging; CT skills are an advantage but not essential Skill in radiopharmaceutical administration and operation of advanced imaging technologies Excellent interpersonal skills with a respectful approach to cultural and community diversity A great team player attitude, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and multiple sites Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in the field of Nuclear Medicine Ready to take the next step in your imaging career?
