Description About us At Evolve Rehabilitation, we guide and support our clients through their rehabilitation journey, in a safe and structured environment. Through short, medium, or long-term residential support we support our clients to regain independence and re-learn daily activities. About the role As the Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for carrying out objective client assessments and rehabilitation programmes to meet client goals.
You will use best practice to measure and evaluate client rehabilitation participation and progress, while providing clinical skills to the rehabilitation assistants and residential team leaders. You will manage a clinical caseload successfully, balancing the delivery of clinical best practice to clients with funder requirements and meeting the performance targets required by the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an extremely rewarding rehab setting with our clients.
There are two permanent position for 80 hours per fortnight located at both South and West Auckland Evolve Rehabilitation Centres. Skills And Experiences About you As an Occupational Therapist, you will need good written and verbal communication skills as well as the following skills and experience: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration required Registered under Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 Experience with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and/or related conditions preferred Committed to continuous quality improvement and personal development Hold a clean and current full driver's licence Leading through our values We are a values-driven organisation.
