ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated and experienced Op Shop Assistant for our SPCA Timaru Op Shop. This permanent part-time role is 14 hours per week, Sunday 9:45am-4:15pm & Monday 8:45am-5:15pm with flexibility to cover additional shifts. You will also be leading volunteers on the shifts you are running.
What youll do: Manage the daily operations while optimising sales revenue through excellent customer service Lead and train the volunteer team Oversee sales, visual merchandising, and product displays Help achieve sales budgets to support animal welfare initiatives Handle daily cash up and banking procedures Ensure a high standard of online sales service Maintain a safe and tidy work environment Completing computer-related administration and courses ABOUT YOU You are an experienced retail professional with a passion for animal welfare.
