Our Transport Team requires an Administration professional to assist with supporting administration functions (primarily in the Container transfers area).

The position offers 45 -50 hours a week normally over standard business hours Monday to Friday, as well as the requirement to work on a weekend roster, to assist with covering our busy 24/7 transport business. The successful candidate will have strong system and process improvement skills and a good grasp of excel spread sheeting. We require someone who can help to streamline current systems and processes in place for the tracking and booking of container movements.

This role is pivotal to assisting the organization of workload and planning for container movements and supports maintaining high levels of customer service as a key function. In this role you will liaise with customers, service providers, plant operators, truck drivers and container providers to ensure a smooth flow of products. This is a broad and varied role in a fast-paced environment with duties ranging from data entry, invoicing, collecting and collating data, preparing reports, processing purchase orders, utilizing various in-house computer packages to track products, as well as liaising with customers.

This role will also involve providing cover for other transport tasks such as dispatching trucks, labour allocation, working with service providers to plan maintenance of our fleet, to name but a few. To be successful in this role you will need to be well organised, with an ability to prioritise and deal with multiple tasks, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and a sense of humour. You will also enjoy responsibility and be proactive.
