On going professional development opportunities. The role/Te mahi We are seeking an outstanding Operations Manager to join the team in the Centre for Educational Design and Innovation. This newly created key position will be responsible for overseeing and leading the workflows of the team and co-ordinating new projects and processes.
You will also be responsible for key administrative functions of the area and facilitating other services supporting the Centre. Working closely with the Dean of Learning and Teaching and the Head of Academic Teaching Development, you will: Lead and manage the Centres operational activities, monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Oversee operational planning, resource allocation, and reporting, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational outcomes.
Drive and deliver projects that support operational improvements and strategic initiatives. Lead change initiatives within the Centre and Kkiri Ki Tua and wider community, guiding teams through transitions and embedding sustainable practices that align with strategic goals. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced, friendly team, where your organisation, leadership and relationship building skills will be key to your success.
This role has contact and collaboration with staff from across the University and will be key in the on-going development of Learning and Teaching in the University.
