Our organisation includes Care on Call (NZ) Limited, Florence Nightingale Agency Limited and Medcall Health Personnel Limited. Care on Call and Florence provide homebased cares and supports to a variety of people for a variety of reasons throughout NZ and we are wanting to add to our people and culture team with someone experienced in Human resources. About the role: Reporting to the Chief People and Culture, you will be responsible for providing proactive support across all aspects of the People & Culture and general human resources function.

Key initiatives you will be responsible for include: Work Environment & Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally safe workplace. Workplace Wellbeing & Engagement: To actively consider, develop and implement ways to promote wellbeing and engagement across the group care staff. Employee Relations & Lifecycle Management: Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and timely resolution.

Advising and supporting our leaders, with performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes as required. Systems, Compliance & Quality Support: Support the development and continuous improvement of HR systems that comply with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Health & Safety legislation, and employment law. Your background : Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.

Minimum 2 years experience in an HR role, preferably within health, aged care, disability, or community services. Sound understanding of relevant legislation and HR best practices. Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.

g., AlayaCare, Jobadder, MYOB, Employment Hero) and comfort with data analytics/reporting tools. Your personal attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with frontline staff and managers alike.

Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. Well-organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Committed to continuous learning, cultural responsiveness, and upholding safety and quality in care environments.
