The role: As a Pest Control Field Operator, youll be on the frontlines of protecting New Zealands biodiversity.

Using methods like trapping and toxin deployment, youll help restore native species and safeguard biosecurity. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, anywhere from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Location: Despite our Otago base being situated in Mosgiel, our team frequently travel to operational sites across the South Island, providing the opportunity to experience New Zealand off the beaten track. In this role, a large majority of the time you will be required to stay away for the working week (Mon - Fri) plus the occasional 10-day stint, with accommodation and meals provided.

Requirements: Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand. Full or Restricted NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record, and the ability to drive off-road vehicles. Clear criminal record.

Physically fit and capable of carrying heavy loads across steep mountainous terrain, this role is not for the faint-hearted. Experience in pest control or biosecurity work is a plus. Willingness to drive long distances and stay away from Pleasant Point HCC base.
