Pharmaceutical Technician Veriphi is an exciting medical device start-up, whose mission is to help save lives by avoiding intravenous medication error. The company has developed a revolutionary solution to improve medication safety through the verification of intravenous (IV) drugs. By preventing errors and improving governance around medication delivery, Veriphi will not only save lives, but also reduce healthcare costs.

As a member of our team, you will have an active role in the development and validation of innovative drug verification solutions. On a day-to day basis you could be: Conducting drug testing using Veriphis analyser solution, based at a lab in Grafton, Auckland CBD, to further drug research and adding new drugs to our analyser libraries Conducting validation testing using HPLC & ELISA tests Working with your product development & engineering department colleagues to add new features and functionality to the range of Veriphi IV Drug analysis solutions Liaising with expert third parties Providing user experience feedback on Veriphis product capabilities, features, and solutions REQUIREMENTS You will have Pharmacology expertise especially working with IV Drugs - reconstitution of drugs to create highly accurate drug concentration samples for testing Extensive experience in using laboratory equipment (laminar flow hoods, digital pipettes, compounding, spectroscopy) and be thoroughly familiar with all associated protocols and GLP A high level of numeracy and aptitude for data analysis Have exceptional problem-solving skills Be a team player who is confident to speak up with ideas and issues Have a degree or qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Science or similar Have 2 years professional experience Be entitled to work full time in NZ It would also be good if you had Knowledge of Pharmacy principles and experience Experience with HPLC/ELISA method development and method validation A passion for Pharmacology processes, drug testing methodologies and related analytical methods Knowledge of Medical sampling methods, related analytics, and information management systems A serious interest in User Interaction and Customer Experience Have an interest in the medical technology industry BENEFITS You will be part of a small team of innovators, creators, and doers that are working on something truly lifesaving.
