What youll do An exciting leadership opportunity has become available as a Pharmacist 2nd-in-Charge to assist with leading our experienced hospital team. Our premier North Shore private hospital is a 313 bed acute care hospital located at St Leonards.
As the 2IC Pharmacist, you will lead the on-site pharmacy team and participate in specialised medication management & clinical services to both the dispensary and hospital wards. Oversee & drive a range of specialist pharmacy services across both the ward and clinical dispensary, catering to the needs of our valued patients. Mentor and develop the skills of our team, guiding them through onboarding and induction processes for new team members.
Work closely with the hospital team to educate staff and counsel patients on medication usage. What youll bring Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA Strong leadership & relationship management skills, with an ability to lead a team in accordance with legislative and medication safety guidelines. High level of computer literacy including systems knowledge of dispensing software Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is highly regarded but not essential.
