About the role: As a Pharmacy Technician Tutor, you will be part of our team delivering the Pharmacy Technician programme. In this role, you will pass on the knowledge you have gained through your extensive pharmacy experience with an emphasis on community pharmacy and an understanding of the skill set required of a Pharmacy Technician. Your knowledge base will also include anatomy and physiology, OTC, a range of dispensing techniques including calculations, compliance packaging and compounding, OTC, pharmacy legislation, and professionalism.

About you: You will need to have a NZ Diploma in Pharmacy Technician (Specialist) L6, NZ Certificate in Pharmacy Technician L4 - L5 or a NZ recognised Pharmacist qualification with a passion for Pharmacy Education and educating future pharmacy technicians in this industry. In addition, you will need: A minimum of 5 years of recent professional experience as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician in New Zealand Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to practice patience & try out new things Connect and build relationships with all your students from all walks of life Passionate and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and fostering success Most importantly, maintain a positive & enthusiastic attitude Teaching experience advantageous but not a requirement You dont need any experience in teaching as we will provide you with comprehensive training and support you with teaching tools to become successful in your tutor role.
