About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Porter to become a part of our vibrant and friendly Hotel team! We are looking for enthusiastic applicants who know how to impress our guests, ensuring a warm, friendly and efficient welcome at every interaction with a hotel guest or visitor. Team players who will provide the highest levels of customer service while ensuring professionalism and efficiencies every time a guest enters the hotel. This part-time permanent role at Sudima Christchurch City requires a minimum of 10 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $25.

Responsibilities | Ng haepapa Providing a warm and welcoming environment within our hotel where everyone feels at home. Assisting with valet parking and luggage. Supporting the Duty Manager with guest requests/tasks Resolve any guest issues promptly and successfully ensuring follow-up and excellent communication at all times Hotel security floor checks Providing local information on Christchurch and the surrounding area Help guests with booking activities, restaurants, and travel options Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in all common areas, both inside and outside the hotel Fix minor technical issues, like changing bulbs, remote control batteries Comply with health and safety regulations and follow emergency evacuation procedures Requirements About you | Ko koe tenei Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts.
