Te tnga | The role We are seeking a talented and highly organised Portfolio Analyst to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This is a pivotal role where youll not only produce high-quality reporting on ESRs projects, programmes, and portfolio for our Executive Leadership Team and Board but also develop a robust "one source of truth" for data across the organisation. We are open to receiving applications from across Aotearoa New Zealand, and the role can be based in either Tmaki Makaurau, Pneke or tautahi .
What You'll Do Drive Portfolio Management: Champion : portfolio management practices across the organisation and ensure data integrity with regular updates. Develop Efficient Processes: Identify and refine data collection methods using our existing systems and sources, ensuring reliable reporting. Analyse & Advise: Convert data insights into clear, actionable recommendationshelping shape decision-making on investments, risk, and resource allocation.
Collaborate & Report: Work with teams and the Business Intelligence unit to create dashboards (experience with Tableau is a plus) and provide critical insights for business planning and performance tracking. Training & Facilitation: Design and deliver engaging training sessions and facilitate collaborative workshops that help internal stakeholders understand and adopt best practices in portfolio management. Support Stakeholders: Deliver training and support to help internal teams understand their roles in effective portfolio management.
Kia angitu koe | About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following: A tertiary qualification in Business , Project Management , or a related discipline 5 years' experience working in a PMO or EPMO environment Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills A working knowledge of project frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall Experience in PPM systems and/or BI modelling tools A proactive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Most importantly, youll be a customer-focused team player who takes initiative and brings energy to foster collaboration and contribute to a high-performing team.
