About the Role (your why) As the Practice Lead Business Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational success of the Business Analysis function within our Digital Engineering & Data team. This leadership position is responsible for guiding a skilled team of Business Analysts in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that support and enhance our software engineering and AI capabilities.

By championing best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and mentoring team members in their professional growth, you will ensure the team operates at peak performance and consistently meets and exceeds business objectives. With a blend of technical expertise and visionary leadership, you will be instrumental in aligning business analysis strategies with organisational goals, enabling impactful outcomes to support our evolving business needs. What youll do Leadership & Team Management Mentor, and develop a team of business analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools to succeed.

Allocate resources effectively to meet business requirements and satisfy demand. Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support when needed.

Presales & Proposal Development Collaborate closely with the sales team and clients to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements. Develop tailored, value-driven solutions by aligning the Datacoms capabilities with the clients needs, leveraging domain expertise, and presenting comprehensive proposals and strategies. Ensure the proposed solutions adhere to best practices, align with client standards, and are scalable for future needs.

Process Improvement & Best Practices Develop and enforce business analysis best practices, including innovation using AI tools Identify opportunities for team optimisation and efficiency gains. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the business analysis practice. Collaboration & Client Engagement Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with client stakeholders to elicit and document business needs, objectives, and pain points.

Work with the client to map, analyse, and document current-state business processes, workflows, and systems. Provide recommendations for future-state processes that drive efficiencies, reduce costs, or deliver enhanced value. Act as a bridge between technical teams and client stakeholders during solution design and development, ensuring the solution addresses business requirements.
