We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to lead our production team and drive excellence in service and quality to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of our most critical process areas, leading a team of operators, and ensuring compliance with KraftHeinz's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures. At the Tomoana, Hawkes Bay site we run two facilities, Recipe producing Condiments, Jams, Soups, Single Serve, and Frozen Meals and Pet Food producing Pouches and Cans. Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Lead a team of operators to deliver shift performance and achieve production targets Ensure safe working practices and a culture of waste minimization and sustainability Allocate plant resources to achieve desired throughput at lowest cost and highest quality Embed Quality and Food Safety policies and procedures, and ensure production activities meet the requirements of the Food Control Plan Develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps and defects Drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive food safety and quality performance Develop and maintain accurate payroll documentation and manage absenteeism within the department About you: 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably FMCG Extensive proven experience in people management Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions Sound knowledge of food processing and/or complex manufacturing environment Competent in people management and conversant with NZ employment law Safety and risk management experience Benefits of working with us Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a leading food and beverage company Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development and growth opportunities Ready to make an Impact?
