Description About the role We are seeking experienced Process Technicians to join our Blending and Canning team supporting on our Filler line. In this permanent role, youll operate advanced automated systems to produce high-quality nutrition products for global markets. If youve previously worked in food or dairy manufacturing and understand what it takes to keep production running safely, efficiently and to the highest standards then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Operate, and monitor the PLF filler line, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely throughout the shift Conduct regular in-process checks including weight verification, metal detection, and visual inspections to ensure product quality and compliance Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues, and coordinate with maintenance or team leads for more complex problems Support batch traceability, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate recording of batch data Operate sophisticated automated equipment in a dairy manufacturing process Perform product quality checks to minimise losses and boost line efficiency Uphold high safety and quality standards within the manufacturing environment Collaborate within a high-performing team to achieve production goals What We Offer Depending on experience pay rate will start from $28.54 and up to $32.90 for experienced operators, with opportunities for increases after completing competency sign off.
Ongoing training and development to help you grow in your role or provide opportunities throughout the business This is a full-time permanent role. Our roster pattern consists of three rotational shifts operating Monday to Friday, with each shift running for 8.75 hours.
The roster pattern is subject to change based on operational requirements. You must be available to work all three shifts on the rotating roster. Morning Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM, Afternoon Shift - 1:45 PM to 10:30 PM, Night Shift - 9:45 PM to 6:30 AM Skills and Experience Were Looking For: We are specifically targeting experienced Process Technicians who bring their skill, accuracy, and a proactive mindset.
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience, ideally on a filler line within a dairy or food manufacturing environment. Mechanical aptitude to understand and operate our equipment Strong understanding of critical control points and hygiene procedures Attention to detail and strong focus on product quality Self-motivated and proactive Physical ability to lift up to 25kg safely and repeatedly The confidence to troubleshoot, identify issues, and escalate when needed If you don't tick all the boxes, we still encourage you to apply!
