This role will be responsible for overall product lifecycle management and roadmap development, ensuring product portfolios are managed strategically, and tactically where needed, to optimise the performance and ensure they remain fit for purpose, meeting our kiritaki current and future needs. The product manager will ensure product performance requirements are met, identify new opportunities, and ensure the timely implementation of agreed initiatives and outcomes. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this tranga will complete? Working with key stakeholders to drive product & propositional changes. Engaging other business units to understand and drive planned changes for our products, processes, and pricing. Supporting enquiries and approvals from frontline colleagues.

Working with Product colleagues to complete regular Product Reviews and collateral updates. Understanding product performance through monitoring of regular reporting, kiritaki and colleague feedback. What is the tma (team) culture and environment like? We are a supportive, tight-knit tma who enjoy finding ways each day to collaborate and support ng kiritaki (customers) and colleagues.

The tma have broad skillsets from diverse career backgrounds, we foster these differences in everything we do. What projects / mahi will the candidate be working on now and into the next year? The focus for this tranga will be supporting the delivery of some core product and system changes initially, followed by focus on value proposition development; regular product, pricing and process reviews; and planning and executing on product enhancements. What is your management style? I like to give my tma plenty of autonomy but provide guidance up front and support as and when needed.

I'm always available to escalate and remove roadblocks to ensure that we achieve desired outcomes for our ng kiritaki and colleagues. What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? The Everyday Banking product tma play a critical part in enabling BNZ's deposit growth strategy.
