To keep pace with substantial business growth we are looking to expand our technical teams, and currently we are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join the Engineering Team based at our head office in Tauranga. You will be working collaboratively with the growing team and our international production facilities, so it is essential that you have well developed communication and interpersonal skills. This position reports to the Production Engineering Manager, and the role is responsible for providing engineering support for the manufacture of products.

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop processes that will be used by production for the manufacture of our products. Carry out Pre-Production trials to ensure a successful handover of new products into production. Develop and Maintain Engineering collateral required for Production including Drawings, Part Documents, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Manufacturing Procedures Design and develop tooling, jigging and equipment to enables processes used by Warehousing, Fabrication (inc.

Robot welding), Machining, Painting, Powder Coating, Assembly and Logistics Investigate opportunities for improvement through the Trimax continuous improvement system. Provide technical engineering guidance and training for production staff and manufacturing subcontractors.
