Stage 1B ties into Stage1A, NIMT Bridges, and completes a combined 6km of three laned SH1 in both directions, six new motorway bridges and multiple interfacing local roads, over motorway bridges, Shared User Paths (SUPs) and upgraded utilities. We are on the lookout for a Project Engineer to lead the project teams with your energy, civil construction knowledge and capability to be hands on, providing coaching and mentoring to team members on various technical elements, ensuring that work is completed to deadline and a high quality. You will have proven experience in major Civil M&V construction projects and be familiar with NZS3916 and the Construction Contracts Act. You will be well versed in using these principals to get the job completed within the timeframe, budget and claim entitlements.
You will have a strong history of successfully managing staff and subcontractors. As you will be accountable for the day to day running of the project site and progress of works, you will ensure the documentation required for project records and administration is completed accurately and within required time frames. Proven experience preparing correspondence/programming and cost estimates is advantageous.
You will be involved in scheduling works, procuring contractor services, and providing technical expertise as needed. Good Work equals Good Benefits Medical insurance for you and your whnau. Life insurance from day one.
