The Company Well-known organisation that plays an integral part in all Aucklanders' lives, on the search for a contract Project Manager (20 - 30 hrs p/wk) for 4-6 months. The Role As a Digital Technology Project Manager, you'll support the Digital team by managing significant digital projects across IT and the broader business. Your responsibilities will include: Duties Full Project Ownership: Lead projects from scoping to successful delivery, adhering to our PMO Governance and Change Management Framework.
Performance Measurement: Ensure regular reporting and communication to keep everyone aligned and informed. Leadership: Lead project teams, ensuring their work aligns with strategic goals. Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet agreed success metrics-time, budget, quality, and scope.
Strategic Implementation: Manage cross-functional projects that drive technology and business change. Project Planning: Break down complex projects into manageable work packages for efficient delivery. Resource Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and risks to ensure project success.
Business Impact Assessment: Support system owners in evaluating the broader implications of new systems and changes. Decision Making: Facilitate informed business decisions within the project scope, driving successful outcomes. Detailed Planning: Conduct thorough project planning to support 'go/no go' decisions and technical implementations.
Skills & Experience Solid experience as a contract Project Manager Proven background working on Fibre, Datacentre, LAN etc projects in an enterprise environment. Someone who has experience with physical installations and delivery of networking and infrastructure. Background delivering projects Culture & Benefits ASAP start Hybrid working and flexi hours.
