While being based in Christchurch or Wellington, you will be part of a highly diverse and supportive team, with global experience from our technical and project delivery leaders, senior engineers and newly joined graduates. Projects range from connecting renewable energy sites to upgrading networks for resilience. Projects will have unique design requirements, however a large part of the work will be predominately within the Transpower standards framework.

Experience with DigSilent PowerFactory, Transpower standards and Stationware is advantageous. Additional secondary or communications design experience would be valuable. At Beca, you'll learn from top professionals and contribute your ideas.

While you will have plenty of scope for success in this role, you will also have the awareness to know your limits, especially knowing when to seek input to validate and confirm your design assumptions such as from Becas protection settings sector technical experts, or through other sources.
