Police, Fire, Emergency services, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Utility workers face challenging conditions every day, and they need communications equipment that is totally reliable . Our Quality Controller plays a core role, being responsible for the end-to-end quality of materials and products in our manufacturing processes, ensuring that they are checked in accordance with specifications and AQL procedures.
Undertaking independent audits of products and materials, this role is responsible for identifying and ensuring that any issues or potential problems that will affect production are raised and addressed promptly. Through strong relationships and regular communication with Tait's suppliers, the Quality Controller helps to ensure quality issues are addressed and reoccurrence is prevented. The duties of the role will include: Undertake component inspections and manage any defects, working with the manufacturing team to ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve issues.
Focus on and demonstrate continual quality improvement and be a proactive ambassador for Tait's high-quality standards, promoting this both internally and with Tait suppliers. Co-ordinate an ongoing programme of audits of finished products, and assist Tait in achieving compliance against relevant quality standards Collect and record data for process control and quality improvement activities, and provide timely , clear and concise reports on finished product quality to management and staff as required . pkenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will have an engaging, clear, friendly, and informative style of communication, demonstrating your ability to connect with and influence a wide variety of staff at all levels of the organisation and with suppliers and customers.
