Description The Opportunity We are actively seeking a Quality Operational Lead which will be reporting directly to the Network Quality Manager based in Palmerston North on a 12 month fixed term babis. Promoting the safe delivery of quality services to Downers Clients, and to its clients customers Monitoring safe work practices with Downer people and recommending improvements through individual feedback Ensure safe working practises. Observe all Health & Safety, driving & company polices Providing an independent assessment of the technical quality of the work performed by Downers employees and subcontractors to determine the degree to which the specified quality criteria has been met Provide an independent assessment of the observed Service Experience compared to the Planned Service Experience criteria Assist with the requirement for continuous improvement in the delivery of Downers services Assist Downer to create a culture of achieving a high quality and H&S compliance standard by mentoring and working closely with associated parties Providing a lead in developing continuous improvement opportunities including product selection/development Liaise closely with the sub-contractor tech/ techs to assist with direction & compliance to the required standards to assist the operational Field Manger/ Team leader Support Network Quality Manager to achieve quality initiatives & KPIs What we are looking for Level 4 NZQA qualification in Telecommunications preferred, but not essential Technical skills, experience and qualifications, as required Proven success in a health and safety processes Computer literate Excel, Word & Outlook Current clean drivers licence Excellent attitude and strong work ethics Ability to prepare concise relevant reports Excellent interpersonal and positive communication skills What we offer Flexible working environment Opportunity for career growth with structured frameworks and supportive-inclusive team Competitive Salary and Employee Benefits Valued and respected position, with supportive and experienced team Work for a major ASX-listed company About Energy & Utilities Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
