Join a leading name in the food industry as a Quality Technologist and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and compliance. Be part of an exciting phase as we implement a new pudding production line! About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technologist to join our Quality team at Walter & Wild on 6 months fixed- term basis. In this role, youll ensure our food products meet rigorous internal, customer, and regulatory standards by supporting quality systems, performing factory inspections, and assisting with validation processes.
Youll also be instrumental in supporting the launch of our new pudding line, including SOP development, quality procedures implementation, and certification processes. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal audits and support external audits as part of our BRC/SQF certification schedule. Ensure compliance with company Quality Management Systems (QMS) and customer standards (e.
g., Coles, WQA, BRC) Assist the HACCP team in hazard analysis and CCP reviews for production lines. Support the certification and validation processes for our new pudding line.
Develop and maintain SOPs for new products and procedures. Conduct product sampling and sensory assessments of finished goods. Maintain strong compliance with Walter & Wild policies, food safety regulations, and legislative standards.
About You You are an experienced food manufacturing professional with a strong background in quality and technical processes, who thrives in a dynamic production environment. Minimum 3 years experience in food manufacturing and quality assurance. Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related discipline.
Sound knowledge of HACCP programs and food safety requirements. Experience with internal/external audits and quality management systems. Proven ability to manage and deliver quality-focused projects in a production environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong integrity, reliability, and professionalism. Team-oriented with a can-do attitude.
