Provide exceptional customer service and team support Deliver rating, water billing and valuation administration services We are searching for a confident, motivated, and customer-focused rates officer to bring their skills and enthusiasm to our great team. This is a full-time position based in our Thames office, supporting the delivery of rating services to our community. As a Rates Officer, while experience in local government would be an advantage, what's more important is a positive, "can-do" attitude and strong administrative skills.

This role, part of the Rates team, is responsible for ensuring accurate rates charging in line with relevant legislation and Council policy, as well as responding to customer queries. This is a varied and fast-paced position, so we're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly and confidently, and consistently delivers excellent customer service. You'll be organised, able to prioritise tasks with ease, and bring a cheerful, team-oriented approach that helps build strong working relationshipswith room for a few laughs along the way.
