This position is available for 15 hours per fortnight for the following days: Friday (5.
30pm 9:30pm), Saturday and Sunday (11.30am 5pm) - with the opportunity for more hours. The receptionist is a pivotal person in the medical centre environment as they are the first point of contact with patients and visitors.
They also co-ordinate services and play a major role in the prioritising clinical workflow and managing patient expectations. The receptionist plays a key role in how the patients view Te Hau o Te Ora, as they are usually the first and last person that the patient sees. Excellent communication and observational skills are imperative as our front line.
You will contribute to the efficient operationalisation of the medical service, provide support to the team and oversee the reception and general housekeeping of our work environment. Te Hau o Te Ora is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Ko wai koe | About You The ideal applicant will bring: Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional personal presentation. The ability to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds in a respectful, calm, and caring manner. Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professionalism in all admin and reception duties. Accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Exceptional accuracy and high attention to detail.
Punctuality and good time management. Medtech PMS knowledge would be an advantage but not essential. Someone who prides themselves in being part of a busy and high performing team.
