M te tranga mahi | About the role As a Recovery Partner | Kaihpai you will be working with clients / kiritaki of all ages who have extensive physical injuries that will likely impact on their day-to-day activity for their lifetime. Some kiritaki may have individual needs that require coordinated support from other agencies, and you will facilitate this planning. Should the kiritaki choose you will manage all claims each kiritaki may have with ACC, which means that from time to time you may work with clients who have'a mental injury due to sexual violence.

With a Disability lens, as a Recovery Partner you will work to ensure that each kiritaki is supported to live as independently as possible by assessing holistic support needs during their rehabilitation and adjusting to a lifetime disability.
