The Opportunity This is a high-impact regional sales leadership role with a long-established New Zealand business thats investing in growth. Youll lead sales and business development across Bay of Plenty and Taup increasing volume, lifting margin, and strengthening customer relationships. What Youll Be Doing Lead and execute a regional sales strategy aligned to commercial growth goals. Manage key accounts and target new business in the civil and commercial space. Own pricing conversations and contribute to profitable deal-making.
Use market insights to guide branding, sponsorships, and promotional activity. Collaborate with leadership and operations to refine plans and hit sales targets. Deliver personal and regional targets with structured reporting and visibility.
What Youll Bring Proven B2B sales experience ideally in construction, building materials, or industrial sectors. Sharp commercial acumen with confidence in pricing, negotiation, and closing. Skilled at building trust-based customer relationships that drive long-term results.
Comfortable working independently across a wide territory decisive and self-led. Clear communicator with a bias for action and a no-nonsense attitude. Nice to Have Experience in construction products.
Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales planning tools. Exposure to local marketing, sponsorship, or brand activation. Knowledge of the Bay of Plenty and Taup regions and existing industry relationships.
