About the Role (your why) The Senior Change and Release Manager is responsible for releasing application software into the user acceptance and production environment. As a Senior Change and Release Manager, you will guide successful adoption of organisational strategic priorities through the delivery of people focused change management.

This is a critical hands-on role in leading change activities, at all levels to support readiness for change and embedding new ways of working. What you'll do The Release Manager is responsible for (but not limited to): Enforcing and policing in-house change control standards and procedures. Ensuring that all migration related tasks are properly communicated to all relevant parties and that they are completed in a timely manner.

Ensuring all components of a release have been packaged and versioned as per appropriate standards. Ensuring all aspects of Release Readiness are accommodated for in preparation for go-live including, but not limited to, testing completion, security and privacy readiness, support readiness, operational readiness and overall implementation readiness. Scheduling and controlling the movement of releases through the various test, pre-production and production environments.

Identifying appropriate continuous service improvement methods for Release Management and seek input from key stakeholders. Raising necessary tasks in internal change control system. Providing guidance and directions to application developers with regards to the change control procedures.

Facilitating all release meetings as required (e.g. implementation plan walkthroughs, Release Readiness, Post Implementation Reviews etc).

Ensuring process, procedure and work instruction documentation for Release Management activities are correct and up-to-date. Ensuring that customer change control procedures are followed. Ensuring the effective integration of release policy and process with other customer ICT policies and processes including security, SDLC and project management policies and processes.

Maintaining, configuring and supporting of change management systems. Coordinating user acceptance testing activities. .

What youll bring : Required experience: Sound understanding and application of change management competencies. Sound understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration. Sound understanding of business requirements and technical limitations as determined by the organisations enterprise architecture.

Sound knowledge and awareness of emerging technologies and their practical applications in supporting business requirements. Knowledge of best-practice service based methodologies and processes (i.e.

ITIL) Demonstrated experience.
