Introduction About the role: You will be responsible for all day-to-day aspects of scheduling MainPowers field work, including traffic management, to optimise resources, manage cost and reduce the number of network outages. You will use our scheduling software to ensure effective utilisation and visibility of our resources, workload and capacity to deliver great project and customer service outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling all MainPowers field work as directed whilst optimising resources Manage all scheduling aspects of Traffic Management requirements Run weekly scheduling meetings with relevant stakeholders Maintain accurate forecasts of projects and the allocated resources Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation gaps Support departmental projects and goals About you: To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, organisation and planning skills and will work closely with a range of stakeholders to gather information, requirements, and schedule resources accordingly.
You need to have a high level of attention to detail, be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and have the drive and ability to maintain and develop our scheduling tools. Additionally, you will bring: Proven experience as a work/project scheduler, production planner or project coordinator, or other relevant experience A detailed understanding of traffic management requirements, processes and scheduling Strong experience with project and program reporting A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail An ability to communicate to business and technical teams Sound judgement and an ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks Absolute commitment to workplace and public safety Online scheduling tool and/or system experience, and proficiency in MS Office suite MainPower requires all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment drug test.
