This is an important role that will support the identifying, collecting and surfacing of data and business requirements that will strengthen data infrastructure and governance processes which form part of the Data programme! This will enable the organisation to meet regulatory standards and support our strategic ambitions. M te Tranga | About the Role We sat down with our Data Programme Manager, and they let us know the following about the tranga (role).

What are some day-to-day tasks the person in this tranga will complete? For this role were not looking at you average business analyst. Due to the technical data complexity of the Data Programme were looking for a business analyst that is comfortable with leading data focussed discussions and supporting our data engineers in finding the best solutions to complex problems. It is important to us that you will have the required 3 years of relevant data experience in a data environment.

Lead, plan and deliver end-to end business analyst support to key projects that form part of the Data programme within the Digital, Data & Analytics division. Develop comprehensive documentation and support the creation of delivery plans for each project that includes discovery, meetings & outcomes, business requirements, dependencies, identified risks and mitigations and user guides. Lead, plan and deliver stakeholder engagement across functional stakeholders to interpret business and data requirements, then analyse, validate and deliver solutions.

Provide coaching and mentoring to other Business Analysts within the division. Translating data requirements between data users and the engineers building data solutions. What is your management style? I look to foster a safe environment and a sense of tma belonging.
