Connexa is New Zealands leading mobile tower infrastructure company, driven by a mission to enable a more connected digital future for Aotearoa New Zealand. We do this by designing, building and managing mobile sites across the country for telecommunications providers (like Spark and 2degrees) to expand their coverage efficiently and sustainably. Our tower portfolio of 2,400 covers Mangnui to Bluff and is the largest in New Zealand.

Based in our Auckland City this Senior Business Analyst role will be on a contract basis for 6-12months initially, depending on business needs. As the Senior Business Analyst you will be focusing on enabling Connexa to deliver towers quicker, more cost-effectively and sustainably by driving standardisation and reducing delivery risk. The role will be working closely with cross-functional teams across the business, as well as external partners and vendors.

The Senior Business Analyst will identify and document business needs, document and/or analyse current-state processes, and define requirements that support both small-scale improvements and larger system-driven transformations. Key Responsibilities: Defining and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that support tower delivery optimisation and standardisation. Facilitating workshops, interviews, and data analysis to uncover and validate root causes of delivery inefficiencies and process variation across internal teams and supply partners.

Translating complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for inclusion in core systems Mapping and redesigning end-to-end processes, with a focus on aligning with Connexas core systems as well as customer and supply partner service agreements. Supporting the prioritisation of initiatives by building and validating business cases and supporting implementation planning. Supporting testing, training, and change management activities to ensure solutions are adopted for the long term and deliver the agreed benefits / outcomes.

Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex operational environments, ideally with infrastructure, telco, or utility sector exposure. Strong process mapping, requirements gathering, and analytical skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive clarity in ambiguous environments. Experience working with technology platforms and digital tools to realise process improvements Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across technical and non-technical teams, including external vendors.

A pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to pivot between strategic thinking and execution detail and flexible enough to manage multiple projects of different sizes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment A creative approach to problem-solving Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple.
