Were working with a dynamic organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Communications & Engagement Specialist to help bring their vision to life. This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven team that plays a vital role in shaping how key projects are received by the public and stakeholders alike. In this role, you will: Develop and deliver tailored communications and engagement plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
Create and distribute reports to local boards and respond to public and stakeholder enquiries. Support project teams and contractors in navigating stakeholder issues and communication needs. Manage incoming information requests with clarity and efficiency.
Help evolve and implement the overarching communications strategy, including introducing new channels and engagement tools. What were looking for: A minimum of 7 years experience in communications and/or engagement roles. Proven experience writing and executing comms and engagement plans in complex or high-profile environments.
The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and consistency. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and political nous. Bonus : Experience working in a digital newsroom or similarly fast-paced media environment.
