Senior Fixed Asset and Project Accountant Provide expert advice to project managers and budget holders Maintain the integrity and accuracy of asset and project financial information Coordinate reporting requirements for investment and asset related returns Play a key role as a key financial partner, ensuring seamless collaboration between Finance, Enterprise Connection and the business on capital assets and projects.

About the role - Krero m te tranga The Senior Fixed Asset and Project Accountant serves as the primary financial liaison for the Ministrys capital assets and projects, ensuring efficient financial processes, integrity, and strategic financial oversight. Key duties include: - Maintain accurate asset and project financial information and budgets - Financial planning and forecasting - Project and Asset reporting - Financial advisory and support - Asset valuation management - Risk and compliance oversight For more detail you can request a copy of the position description here. The full salary range for this role is $124,674 and $168,676 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

Who are we looking for? - M wai te mahi nei? Wed like to hear from you if you are an experienced finance expert with the following skills and experience: A tertiary qualification in finance Demonstrated recent relevant work experience at least 8 years The ability to translate financial concepts into easy-to-understand language Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills Understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Mori and Mori customs and protocols would be beneficial.
