SENIOR GNC ENGINEER - NEUTRON: The Senior GNC Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, testing and validation of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems used on the Neutron rocket. The range of responsibilities also extends to trajectory design and optimization, auto-sequence planning & design, physical systems modelling, Monte Carlo analysis, launch operations, and many more. YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor, Masters or Ph.

D. in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification 5 years launch vehicle or spacecraft dynamics and modelling experience 5 years experience developing in C/C++ 5 years experience developing in Python or MATLAB A thorough theoretical and practical understanding of rigid and flexible body dynamics, particularly 6DOF rocket dynamics Understanding of orbital mechanics and closed-loop control systems The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Experience with Git version control Experience working in a continuous integration environment Experience developing in a Linux environment Experience with Simulink Experience in developing models from fundamental principles and validating through test Experience with high reliability systems and processes Experience with flight simulator or flight software developme.
