He whakamrama m te tranga mahi | About the role Are you looking for your next opportunity and wanting to make a difference to the future of Auckland? We are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer for our Wastewater Treatment team. If you are looking to progress your engineering career and have a particular interest in water infrastructure, this could be the right step for you! Watercare are involved in unique projects where you will be working alongside high performing teams, and people who are equally passionate about what they do! The work will involve: Developing our wastewater treatment facility plans and supporting the delivery of the AMP (Asset Management Plan) to schedule Delivering the pre-feasibility phases of our project lifecycle planning activities and ensuring we are running to schedule Providing technical support input into the feasibility phases of our project lifecycle. Ensuring we are delivering infrastructure/service delivery outcomes that meet our business, community, mana whenua, stakeholder and operational expectations.

Ng pkenga e rapu nei mtou | About you To be successful in these roles, you will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a team environment, and have a strong project management capability. You are an excellent communicator, who enjoys a challenge. Your skills and background also includes: Degree qualified (likely civil, mechanical or process engineering) 5 years relevant experience, preferably in infrastructure planning Water/wastewater treatment or industrial design experience A working knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies Master planning or asset management experience An analytical mind that can think laterally and challenge the status quo.
