Youll work with Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD tooling (CloudBees Jenkins, Chef) to automate and optimize workflows that support critical reporting applications like FATCA, CRS, and PTR. Develop Jenkins pipelines to automate the provisioning of infrastructure and the deployment of application changes, ensuring seamless CI/CD processes. Develop DIP pipelines to automate and integrate the new FATCA EOY report application. Write and maintain Chef recipes to manage and automate the configuration of servers, ensuring consistency and compliance across environments.

Manage and automate the configuration of servers, ensuring consistency and compliance across environments, for both FATCA/CRS and PTR. Implement and maintain observability using Westpac's current practices, including logging, tracing, and metrics collection to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Oversee monitoring and alerting systems in line with Westpac standards, utilising tools to ensure system reliability and prompt incident response.

Administer and optimize Jenkins, ensuring its availability, performance, and integration with other tools in the CI/CD pipeline. Actively contribute to the squad by enhancing existing systems and on-boarding new payment-related systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards. Provide on-call support, including after-hours, to address critical issues and ensure system uptime and reliability.

Maintain and manage a container orchestration platform, to ensure efficient deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Coach and mentor other platform engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. N tu rourou | What will you bring? Proven experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience engineering fault-tolerant, resilient systems that are observable, monitored, and have alerting. Proficiency in Linux system administration is essential Experience creating automation with a configuration management tool in either Chef, Ansible, or Puppet Experience managing and maintaining Enterprise level hardware. Having experience with hyper-converged infrastructure is beneficial.

Understanding payment processing platforms is beneficial. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to define, deploy, and manage infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. Experience with CloudBees Jenkins (or Jenkins Enterprise), including configuring shared libraries, role-based access, and governance.
