Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We have a strong forward pipeline of 3 waters projects in Queenstown/Thuna. This includes a wide variety of different projectswastewater and water treatment and pump stations, pipelines, potable water storage, and stormwater projectsfor local and central governments and other clients. These projects include those in all stages of design and construction, as well as assisting clients with planning to meet the challenges of the future.
To be part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join our Queenstown/Thuna teams, both in the office and across our sites within the region. In this role, you will have the chance to: Work with colleagues to provide cost-effective solutions to their engineering challenges. Your work will range from option assessments, detailed design, and construction including construction site monitoring, site-based project commissioning and handover.
Help deliver sustainable community outcomes through our projects by focusing on aspects such as carbon reduction and reducing wider environmental impacts. Design and manage the delivery of wastewater and water treatment plant projects with an emphasis on quality and service. Use your strong customer relationship skills to understand our clients' core businesses and ensure that our services meet their expectations.

Ko wai koe | About you You are a highly motivated Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer with a strong track record in the successful delivery of stormwater, water or wastewater treatment projects in a consulting environment. You have a Bachelor of Engineering, or another relevant qualification, are professionally qualified, have at least 6 years of relevant work experience, and are expected to: Have a strong technical focus and be able to carry out design calculations. Have had experience on site including overseeing construction and commissioning works and mechanical and process installations.
Be able to review and support the production of specifications (including performance-based specifications), data sheets, schedules, and functional descriptions. Undertake a complete proposal, including scoping and fee estimates. Have strong communication skills to enable coordination across other disciplines and the completion of project documentation to provide cohesive delivery.
