M te tranga | About the Role Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, y ou will lead a team of experienced technology procurement professionals to meet the technology procurement needs of the business.

As a member of Westpacs procurement leadership team, you will also contribute to developing and delivering the strategic priorities of Westpacs Procurement function. This is a people leadership role with the primary purpose of: Leading a team of procurement professionals to manage assigned technology categories and deliver assigned procurement initiatives using the appropriate mix of strategic and tactical procurement practices. Overseeing the end-to-end procurement cycle for initiatives delivered by the team from initial sourcing request through to execution and handover into ongoing category management by procurement and supplier & contract lifecycle management by the business.

Ensuring initiatives delivered by the team achieve best value, meet required business outcomes and timelines, and are delivered in line with Westpac procurement policies and processes. Role modelling and occasionally performing strategic procurement practices. Leading, supporting and mentoring team members to collaborate as business partners with internal stakeholders and with suppliers on assigned procurement initiatives.

N tu rourou | What will you bring? 10 years relevant and progressive procurement experience in leadership roles Strong and visible leadership capability to influence both internally and externally to the organisation Proven subject matter expertise in leading category management and strategic procurement teams in relevant categories.
