He whakamrama m te tranga mahi | About the role Working in Programme Delivery and reporting to the Project Engineer Team Lead, this is a great role where you will be fully immersed in some large scale projects.
The focus of this role is to provide construction supervision and project engineering services during the delivery of capital projects ($3m to $30m) at water and wastewater treatment plants. You will be ensuring agreed quality of deliverables is achieved in accordance with standards with a very strong emphasis that the work is being performed safely. You will also lead the management of small capital projects ( Ng pkenga e rapu nei mtou | About you To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have the ability to easily build relationships with both internal and external parties, and enjoy working outside of the office environment.
Your background will include: A tertiary qualification in Process, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical engineering and relevant construction management/supervision experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience of construction project engineering/site management on infrastructure projects or a similar role. You would preferably be accredited or working towards chartered professional engineer or equivalent accreditation with Engineering NZ.
Management in the delivery of projects in a water/wastewater or manufacturing environment would be an advantage although not essential.
