We are currently delivering work ranging from Bridges and Wharves to Water Treatment Plants and Storage Tanks and Pipelines. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical & Electrical with experience working on heavy civil projects to oversee the delivery. This is a busy role where youll work closely with the operations team to coordinate engineering procurement and management of design and sub-contractors, the planning, programming and delivery of M&E works, managing commissioning through to client handover.
Your solid understanding of M&E drawings and specifications, experience coordinating M&E works to programme with various sub-contractors and resolving technical issues on site quickly will be key to your success. You will ensure procurement and construction timelines are within project budget, completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality. Were looking for someone with: Significant project management experience in heavy civil/large infrastructure projects, ideally water treatment plants, brown fields, self-delivery packages, mechanical and pipe installation and DAF plants. The ability to lead with heart, encouraging and lifting your team capability around you A good understanding of control systems Experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions Proven experience creating strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including subcontractor resources Commercial management, including preparation of claims, variations and extensions of time Contract management, planning and financial management experience A focus on quality assurance & environmental management systems The ability to manage all phases of large, complex construction projects The approach that safety is the number one non-negotiable in the delivery of projects Minimum of a level 5 qualification or equivalent exp.
