Key Responsibilities: Oversee the accounting functions for key REMS clients within your portfolio, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.
Ensure adherence to financial compliance and Colliers policies. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and other property accountants. Assist with financial requirements for both current and prospective clients.
Prepare and file statutory returns for REMS clients. Maintain lease information and manage tenant invoicing within the property accounting system. Support the REMS Senior Leadership Team with property management software and process improvements.
Prepare comprehensive annual and monthly financial statements, including operating expense reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for REMS clients. Manage monthly cash flow and reconcile cashbooks.
Participate in client management meetings as required. Lead initiatives for change and efficiency within the REMS business. Perform general accounting duties and investigations as needed.
