Our mahi (work) is organised around the delivery of our three core services: Environmental Regulation and Protection Community Preparedness and Response to Hazards Public Transport Krero m te Tranga | About the Role The role of the Senior Resource Management Officer Incident Response sits within our Urban team based in Tuam and provides a mix of both office and field-based work. Your focus will be working proactively with communities, resource users, rnanga, and stakeholders to support real change in the on-the-ground management of natural resources. More about the role: Upholding compliance with regulations & regional rules Identify process improvement opportunities and resolve complex issues Reporting and compliance support Develop and deliver technical and customer service training to staff Report writing and producing feedback Establish and maintain regional and strategic networks Mu About You Youll have a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant resource management-related field.

Youll understand the principles of the Resource Management Act and have experience with consent holders. Being part of Urban Canterbury team involves working proactively with communities, resource users, rnanga, and stakeholders to support real change in on-the-ground management of natural resources.
