The Company This is a senior engineering role that requires deep technical expertise and a passion for building scalable, high-performance digital solutions. You'll focus on integrating advanced SEO strategies into the clients platform, ensuring every technical and product decision maximizes their organic search growth-all while working across our full technology stack, including Typescript, PHP, APIs and React. The Role SEO-Focused Engineering & Leading: Architect, implement and deploy robust& scalable SEO infrastructure within the client platform.

Lead initiative that enhances architecture, data, performance for organic searches.Full-stack Development: Using PHP, Typescript and React to develop server and client-side solutions for SEO strategies. Technical SEO Strategy: Conduct technical SEO audits and enhancements.

Learning and using AI and new tech/analytics to optimise keyword strategies to refine on site performance. Performance monitoring & improvement: Monitor KPIS and continually improve the systems by staying in touch with SEO trends, tech and algorithmic updates. Your Profile Over 4 years of software engineering experience as a full stack developer; Ideally experience within a digital web agency or SEO focused projects using full-stack development front end experience in React/modern JavaScript or Typescript frameworks; Back end experience with PHP and modern PHP frameworks is desirable, API development and Integration experience is essential if no SEO experience.

Technical SEO experience with a deep understanding of best practices, technical audits, structured data, mobile optimisation & performance tuning; Integrating SEO considerations into web architecture and application logic. It is beneficial if you have experience leveraging AI and analytics tools to drive product improvements and strategic decision-making; LLM, content generation, personalization/recommendation/search algorithmic experience is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, user-focused mindset; Full NZ working rights are essential.
