Job Description He aha tau mahi? - What will you do? We're on the hunt for a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our busy Land & Planning team in Hamilton on a 12-month Fixed Term basis. If you've got a strong background in stakeholder engagement, particularly in establishing and managing relationships with iwi and mana whenua then read on! This role sets out to ensure that well managed external relationships contribute towards the safe and legally compliant operation of high-pressure pipelines and associated infrastructure, along with the protection and exercising of existing legal rights. To do this you'll need to be safety and relationship focused.
You'll be comfortable dealing with a range of people including the Firstgas team, landowners/occupiers, contractors, iwi and local government with the goal to deliver exceptional relationship management. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the business to provide stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation, coordination, safety awareness, and support and education services. You'll also coach and mentor others within the team and wider business to upskill and develop in the stakeholder engagement space.
