0 FTE), working Monday to Friday each week. We are looking for a Senior Team Leader to join our Hillsborough Lighthouse team. The role provides frontline leadership for Youth Workers, maintains kaimahi rosters and drives the tikanga of the whare.
The Senior Team Leader works closely with the Practice Leader to develop practice, implement our model of care and ensure the smooth running of the service on a daily basis. Hillsborough Lighthouse provides a safe place to stay for rangatahi aged 11 to 17 years, often for a short period, at short notice or in an emergency (both care and youth justice). Rangatahi here predominantly identify as male however we also have gender diverse rangatahi.
About You | Mu You may have worked in residential services, led youth programmes, managed sports teams, led mentorship programs, or provided leadership to young people in a relevant setting. If you are a confident and empathetic person who can support youth with complex and challenging behaviours, we are looking for you!
