We're seeking a passionate Senior Test Engineer to lead our software testing capability and ensure exceptional quality in our IVR and telephony solutions. What You'll Be Doing | M te Tranga Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for IVR systems, APIs, and integrated applications. Lead the continuous improvement and evolution of our software testing processes within the technology space.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and high-quality solutions. Technical Expertise: Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of telephony systems.

Conduct end-to-end testing of IVR solutions integrated with CRM, databases, and third-party applications. Manage and enhance our IVR automation framework, leveraging tools like Cyara. Perform API testing of SOAP and RESTful services.

Provide expert troubleshooting with logs, SIP traces, and network packet analysis. Collaborate with security teams to test authentication, encryption, and fraud prevention in IVR systems. Quality Assurance & Reporting: Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risks and reporting to project teams.

Assess test coverage and make risk-based decisions. Support BAU operations with smoke testing, regression testing, and post go-live support. Contribute to release management, including Git workflows and deployments.

Lead & Develop: Take ownership of self-development to grow individual capability. Lead and develop teams, providing clear direction to cross-functional teams. Coach individuals to achieve success and foster a positive team culture.

About You | Mu Tertiary qualifications in Computer Systems, Software/Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. Proven experience in defining test strategies and plans for IVR systems.

Strong knowledge of AWS services, Amazon Connect, Lambda, Concierge, Cornerstone CX, Verint WFM, Salesforce, and Datadog. Experience with IVR testing frameworks like Cyara (highly advantageous). Proficiency in functional, integration, API, and non-functional testing.

Strong troubleshooting skills with logs, SIP traces, and network packet analysis. Experience in security and performance testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
