The Role This role has been newly created due to the rapid expansion of the company. In this role, you'll engage in all stages of software development, from conception through release, working on every aspect of the web stack. Your contributions will directly influence the user interface, application logic, user search personalization and recommendation algorithm.

This will enhance our business operations, site traffic and user experience. This position is perfect for developers with a comprehensive understanding of technology, a keen eye for detail, and experience in digital marketing or web agencies. Expand and enhance our web-based projects and AI/predictive technology within search personalisation and recommendation engines; Using React, TypeScript, Elasticsearch, HTML5, CSS3, encompassing both front-end and back-end development tasks.

Work closely with the creative design team to deliver user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs that focus on search suggestions to on-site (& off-site) consumers. Proactively improve the web platform by adding new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and resolving bugs. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, with the ability to learn and evaluate these technologies swiftly and autonomously; A desire to work with or focus learning on AI & SEO is ideal.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, complemented with well-commented documentation; Participate in regular code reviews to uphold high coding standards. Your Profile 4 years of experience in digital/web development with Typescript &React, with a strong background in building comprehensive, high traffic web projects; SEMrush, SEO development, AI, LLM experience is desirable. Expertise in creating responsive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience across various devices.

Proficiency in API development & integration; Experience in SEO, search engine or AI integration in websites is highly desirable. Exceptional front-end design skills, with meticulous attention to detail; Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintaining a growth mindset. Excellent communication skills and a legal right to work full-time in NZ.
