About the role We have a part-time permanent role available at a minimum of 32 hours per week to be worked over a rotating roster with starting times rotating between 4.
30am, 5am and 6am. As some shifts fall outside of public transport hours (early starts); you'll ideally need to be CBD based, within cycling distance or hold a full drivers license and your own transport. The role of Shore Services Assistant sits under the operations department and will be key in providing services to our vessels in a timely manner. As we operate 7 days a week, 365 days of the year this is a rostered role which includes early starts, weekends and public holidays. Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with waste management, including maintain radio communication with operations in relation to slotting and scheduling of vessel that needs to pump out waste Co-ordinating our food and beverage storage for all boats checking we have enough products, re-stocking and maintaining the storage area Organising the freight to and from Waiheke.
This involves physical work including heavy lifting Lost property - communicating with clients regarding any property that has been forgotten on the vessels. Your focus on customer service and communication skills will be of great help when dealing with our clients (internal and external) Assisting with staff uniforms and administration.
