About the Role As a Site Design Coordinator , you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering Site Detailed Design (SDD) documentation to support the rollout of our Public Safety Network.
Reporting to the Head of Site Design and based in central Auckland, you'll work closely with engineering and site acquisition teams to ensure design information is accurate , timely , and enables effective site builds. In this role, your key responsibilities will be: Manage and facilitate Site Detailed Design (SDD) documentation for each site. Collaborate with Site Acquisition and Engineering teams for detailed inputs.
Oversee the end-to-end Detailed Design process, ensuring timely delivery. Produce accurate SDD documents that meet internal and external requirements. Maintain Nexsys database with current forecasts and actual delivery dates.
Identify and implement process improvements in the SDD function. Support the Build team by providing essential design information. Ensure cost-effective solutions are considered during the design process.
Generate progress reports on SDD activities as required . About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in telecommunications or a related field. You will also bring: Strong understanding of Mobile/LMR networks.
5 years of telco experience, ideally within PMO or service delivery functions. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail. A proactive, self-managing work style. Flexibility and the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
